Traditional Thai Massage

DEEP.  INVIGORATING.  RESTORATIVE.

Thai Massage is performed on a mat on the floor with the client fully clothed.  The form is focused on deep compression and acupressure with some movement and stretching.  Hot herbal compresses, cupping and scraping are also incorporated when needed.

As an integral part of  Thai Medicine,  it is one of the many skills a Traditional Thai Doctor learns to treat his/her patients alongside herbal remedies and dietary counsel.  Thai Massage offers deep relief from painful, tight, stiff muscles and fascia while increasing joint mobility.  It recognizes physical pathways along the body called Sen Lines which cause imbalances when blocked.  The goal of Thai Massage is to release those blockages and to restore balance.

For further consideration, Thai Medicine is based on Elemental Theory and the belief that mental health, emotional health, spiritual health and physical health are one, not separate.  When one of these is affected so they all are.  Receiving Thai Massage radiates to all levels of being bringing you back to good health and harmony.
